How many times a day do you use your washing machine??
Today I have done four loads of washing. Most days I do at least one load of washing in the washing machine.
There are very few days when I don't have a load of washing to put in the washing machine, and i am very careful with the washing etc. There are now five of us living in the house

Weve been lucky with our washer here,we have an Indesit, its over four years old and still going strong, now you watch now ive said that it will conk out.But the washer is always on in this house, she likes to keep it up together, and for most days tyhere is a load of coloureds and a load of whites,I dont know where she finds it all from ,im swearing she goes and hooks out the clean stuff from the drawers lol,but it keeps her indoors happy, thats waht counts.

Ever since I had a maid a few years ago, I hardly use my washing machine. That's because my maid feels that hand washing is more thorough than machine washing, and furthermore, we hardly have a full load on a daily basis. More recently, we are starting to use the washing machine more because we are washing our bed linens and curtains more regularly. But we only get a load of washing on alternate days, so you can say we use our machine only three or four times a week at most.

washing machines are not that good. hands are better than those bulky washing machines. for me washing machines are only intented for washing for large fabrics like carpets or bed mattresses.

There are just two of us here, so we wash about five loads a week. Not every day. When there were seven of us here the rule was two loads a day, minimum. It is a never ending process. I wish someone could event self folding laundry.

Hi anne, we only use the washing machine twice a week, usually Tuesdays and Fridays. These are the official "wash days". We do that to conserve energy and water. It's pretty helpful and we also handwash a lot of clothes in order to preserve the condition of the cloth.

I have at least two washloads in a week whether it fits on just one washload or not because I always separate the whites from the colored ones. There are only three of us in our household, me, my little daughter and my husband. Most of my baby girl's clothes are white and I wash it together with the towels.

There are only two of us to wash for here at my house. When our two children were home, I washed a couple loads or more a day. Now I wash only when necessary. I do wash my husband's work clothes most every day of the week. And I did wash two loads today.

Most days I do between 1 and 2 loads of laundry. We only have four people living in this house, but we certainly do have a lot of dirty clothes! Washing clothes is my favorite chore, though. I would much rather wash clothes than dust. I can't stand dusting!

Hi Anne, that's a lot of washing to do! Wow!
There are only 2 of us in the house, so I need only load the washing machine once every 4-5 days. Now I wouldn't dare complain about washing; now that I know that there are others who have so much more to do!

That seems like quite a lot of laundry to take care of on a regular basis! I usually have something to put in my washer machine. I don't have a big family.
Just my husband and son. I still like to keep up with the wash so it doesn't get backed up.
It seems like a woman's work is never done. Five people in a household such as yours I can see the laundry building every day. It can't always be easy.

Since I live alone I only wash once a week, I will wash if I need something big like a bedspread or some linen, other than that it is once a week.

I wash my and my husband's clothes 2 times a week. On these days, I make at least 3 loadings of clothes in a machine with a 5.5 kilo capacity.
