I'm not surprised at all. From the start Miguel was always a candidate for expulsion but he always manages to get out of it even how bad he performed in the gala night. Let's face it though they are showcasing talent in the PDA, it's still a popularity contest where the popular and most in the case the rich one succeed. I just can't get it why the winner will be judge only through the text voting and not for their talent even just for a considerate percentage of the total points.

i totally agree.
they should change their show format. it disappoints a lot of people.
my personal take on this is text voting should be on popularity (not talent). it kinda disappointed me because it's supposed to be a talent show. where the candidates will be graded and assessed according to ability.
yes popularity is part of it, but not entirely. sooner or later, after the whole competition, the real stars and real talents would prove themselves.
i just hope bugoy continues. he should use his popularity already as a way for him to continue what he started. =)

a big no..he does not have that quality..i think leizel should have been on the number three spot..but then its a money contest..so miguel got in because he got money.

Yeah I guess with all the post in here they are all questioning Miguel's being able to be in the third place. I really think its supposed to be Liezel but I think he was able to grab it by text votes. Well that is what money can buy.

Me too I was not expecting of the voting results that put miguel on the third spot.It would be much acceptable for me if liezel would be the in the thord spot because she is really good and also on her record in the early weeks on pinoy dream academy she is alwyays the top scholar.Hope you liked my rsponse and have a nice day.

Yeah i think so. He deserves it. He sings pretty well more than Van, in my opinion. Liezel's got no support since she stayed in dubai for quite some time making it difficult for her to find support. Miguel is just like Ronnie Liang of this year's batch. Third place is a spot for Miguel which i think is fair. Star quality wise in terms of physical looks, it's obvious that Miguel is a winner compared to Bugoy. And that's what record companies these days are banking on. It's a balance of good looks and talent for Miguel.

I wouldn't mind the fact that he was relatively well-off compared to his fellow scholars, but apart from being rich, he's also arrogant and not very talented. No wonder the audience was very quiet when he performed last night; only a handful of groupies was said to be cheering for him.

remember guys, his family got money. So no wonder he was able to reach top3. It's all about the text votes..
