how do you chill out after a stressful day?

reading sometimes relaxes me i don,t want to hear anything.

Meditation is the best way for me to chill out. Listening to bosa nova music also enhances the process.

I think after a really stressful day I come home and light some candles, put on some soft music and relax in the bathtub for a while. That way I feel completely disconected from the outside world and nothing can get to me! Hugs, Tianna

Well, for me, it depends on the situation, and where I am at. I really have to watch it as too much Stress will bring on a Bad Migraine for me as well. What I will usually do to relieve Stress, is listen to calming music, come online and post in myLot, or sleep. It just really depends on what the situation is at the time, and what I feel is the best solution for it as well.

After a stressful day I like to either read a good book, or go out into my garden and potter around my plants, tidying them up and making everything look nice again! It helps me to de-stress!

I would either go out with friends and drink or some alone time would help me de-stress. Alone time would be movie watching at home, net surfing, blogging, and cross-stitching. But the most de-stressing activity that I always rely on when I get home is playing with my two beautiful kids.

Great music does the trick a lot of the time. A scented bath can do it, too. If I'm really downed-out, I get out the silliest dvd I can find -- laughter cures so many things!

I play with my daughter, talk to my husband and watch TV. I also take a long hot bath to relax myself. Sometimes, I also give in into eating my comfort food.. most of the time it's just Kraft Mac and Cheese.

and there is nothing wrong with that if you find confort in do this we have stay on this stress because it weight heavy on us.

When I am very stressed after the day sometimes I just go treat myself with my comfort foods like ice cream, crepe or starbucks frapuccinos hehe. Other than that I just watch in the internet at home sitting and chilling in our lazy boy. I also kinda like peace and quiet when I get stressed. Like if you want to talk to me it better be about something good and not another stressing topic.

stressed out - stressss
when i am stressed out...listening to music, cuddling with my doggy, smoking a bowl, talking to my cousin, getting away from everyone and being alone, going for a walk or jog...those are some of the things that help me relaxes at the end of the day. oh and having a drink also helps me to relaxe. i usually have four stressful days out of each week. i wish i didn't. i hate stressful moments. They suck so much!

it all depends dear annjilena. sometimes it will be a cool shower!! and at others just sit coolly and sip your favorite drink. and at others just switch on the favorite show on the tv while at others a cool walk down the road!! and at other moments when i am with the hubby you know what i mean!! every thing works depending upon the moment!!

yes my mate thinks iam too kool i try not to let things upset me, you really have to upset me for me to vent i try to treat people way i want to be treated but he saids iam too soft but iam not i just found other ways of dealing with stressful situation.

I go to our pantry at the office and buy a power bar (chocolate) and drink a very cold soda to lower down my temper for being stress.

whatever works for you chocolate will make me hyper it would be to much sugar for me, and last thing i would be able to do is sleep with all that sugar.

after a stressful day, i love to take a long warm shower with lotsa burning candles and soft nice music on the baackground, preferably a sweet instrumental piece. after the long shower, I love the feel of a cotton pajamas on my body while I treat my self to a mug of coffee or jasmine tea while I cuddle with my husband. Telling him what causes my stress helps a lot too.

that true sleeping do revive you especially when you are tired and stressed out.
