What Are You Allergic To?

The only thing that I can think of being allergic to is mosquitoes. Every since I was a small something, I been allergic to them. I know it's normal for anyone to develop bumps when bitten by mosquitoes, but when it comes to me, it's another ball game. After they bite me, a bump pops up, but after a while, maybe a few hours or a day or so, the bumps would turn into blisters, blisters of different sizes, and it hurts until I poke it with a needle and bust it. It's been a while since that happened, because I haven't been bitten in a good minute.

Hi miracle,
Mine is also mosquitoes and grasses especially when it is wet! I don't know about mosquitoes, even if I am in our office before and it is aircon, I will be itching a lot and for all the people there, I am only the one who will be bitten!
In the family also, only Dad and I will be bitten so we have to place a lamp or candle beneath our dining table when we are eating so we can enjoy the food!
It's very annoying that s why I have scars in my right legs because when I was younger, I scratch a lot!

I'm allergic to cats and get this, coldness. Yes cold. If the weather is really cold, like freezing and I breath in cold air for a while, maybe 30 minutes, I will be short of breath, get hives on my face and my lips swell. If you were to hold a ice cube on my arm, I would have a welt the exact shape of the cube. It's crazy and has a really long name which I can't remember exactly never mind spell it LOL. I have been like this for 30 + years. It has to do with the imbalance of histamines in my body.

The question should be what am I NOT allergic to? I am allergic to dander, pollen, dust, weeds, grass, tumbleweed, olive tree, certain medical tapes, tattoos (mainly the ink, it makes my skin burn), metals, smoke, ashes, and just about anything else that is in the environment. I have no food allergies or allergies to medication (thankfully), but I have enough to drive me crazy. Most of my allergies are under control with medication, but there is no cure of my allergies to metal and tattoos. Can you imagine not being able to wear any jewelry because it makes your skin turn red all over? That is my Hell. I have incredibly sensitive skin. I have four skin conditions and Asthma on top of my Allergies. The four skin conditions are Eczema, Dermatitis (I hope I spelled that right), Psoriasis, and redness of the skin. My doctors were hoping that I would have grown out of these problems, but sadly, I never did, so I am doing my best to combat the problems that I have, but there are times when it just feels overwhelming.

Hello Miraclefreebies! I am allergic to everything within reach. I am allergice to alot of antibiotics. I have extremely sensitive skin, so hives are my current accessory. I welt really easy, so putting on a t-shirt can make me break out in hives. And we just realized that I am allergic to spiders. When I get bit I break out like you do in little blisters. The scars are horrible!! Good luck with the skeeter bites. Hint, they don't like marigolds or vinegar. Vinegar is much easier to put on your body and the smell goes away faster. Happy Mylotting.

Hi! I have a case of allergic rhinitis and so I am allergic to dust, smoke, pollution, pollens and animal dander. I always have nasal drippings in the mornings when I wake up and so phlegm tends to build up in my lungs and so I have to expel them out every now and then.
If my allergy is attacking my nose gets clogged and its hard to breathe. When the allergy gets worst the muscles around my cheeks bones down to my gum areas becomes swollen and it hurts when touched. Sometimes my nose bleeds cause the veins would begin to errupt because the mucus can't come out from the nostrils.
I only have one prescription for it and its antihistamine and of course, covering my nose when I'm outside.
Ciao!

I really don't know where I'm allergic to. Is it possible that I am not allergic to anything. Hmmm. Just don't know of any incident in my life where suddenly happens to me due to an allergy. As for mosquitoes biting me, I think it's just normal. Get bitten then it turns into a red spot. Never think it's an allergy though.

i am allergic to seafood. i am allergic to every single edible sea creature that turns orange when cooked. for example, shrimps. i get bumps and my skin feels itchy. but when it comes to crabs, it's a different story. the inside my throat swells up making it hard for me to breathe. they say the allergic reaction is internal. lately i found out that even some fish gives me allergies. the stronger the flavor, the more allergic i am. recently my eyes swelled up because i ate fried fish. it's sad really. i also get allergic reactions when my face is exposed to dust and dirt. ever since i gave birth, i became allergic to a lot more things. before i was only allergic to seafood.

That is funny (not really) but because my wife is allergic to mosquitoes. I have never heard of or thought about someone being allergic to them till her. She doesn't get blisters, but they get so big that they basicly become her leg/arm/etc. It is crazy! I just have the common usually pollen allergy so I guess I am lucky... so far at least.
Good luck and hope you don't get bitten, cause I know just from my wife that it sucks and it sucks worse that when you get 1 bite, that you know you have like 5 others, so it isn't good to be allergic to mosquitoes!

I used to be allergic to dogs, I would come out in a massive rash when I went near our dog. I only had this in the summer though when my hayfever was playing up. Now I have a horrible feeling that I am allergic to my favourite perfume as I have been getting a really nasty rash everytime I put it on just lately. Luckily though I only get the itchy rash and not any other nasty things.

i'm allergic to strong scents. whenever i brush my teeth, there's a tendency for me to sneeze. bath soap with strong scent can make me sneeze too. i believe i have allergic rhinitis but i'm getting used to it. i just hope it won't develop to asthma.

I'm allergic to myself.
lol Lemme clarify: I have an auto-immune condition in my eyes where my eyes basically reject the proteins they secrete, and as a result get inflamed. This is really made bad by the fact that I wear contacts, which exacerbates the problem by essentially collecting the protein deposits of my eye. It's a little bit better now that I wear daily disposable contacts, but even then I can't wear them for too long.
It's quite annoying, really, but nothing really dangerous unless I let it get out of control, where I could go blind.
