psp or ds

I currently own a Sony PSP and I have also got my hands on a Nintendo DS.. Both hand helds have their advantages and disadvantages. The PSP has more features while for the DS to compete must use third party applications though, they aren't as impressive with the innate features of the PSP like viewing videos or playing music. With the DS, a different game experience is catered with the touch screen while the PSP still provides the usual eye and hand coordination with the usual buttons that the PlayStation is known for. The durability of the screen is better for the DS since it gets protected as the hand held when folded while the PSP's screen is all exposed for scratches yet, can be alleviated with accessories that prevents direct contact with anything that may cause scratches. Some games on the DS utilizes the mic but, the new PSP 3000 also has a mic too but, not sure on how games would utilize that feature. Loading time on the DS is almost non existent while the PSP still reads the UMD which causes load time for some games. Availability of games would determine also the age range that the hand helds can accommodate. The PSP games are more into young teens to adults while the DS game titles can accommodate young children up to adults. Still, given with the advantages and disadvantages, different people get satisfied with different ways. (^_^ )
