Our Religion Can Save Us?

How many among you guys believe that our respective religions can save us? I don't believe so. What I truly believe is I can be saved if I follow the God's greatest commandments: To love God above anything else in life and To love others as we love ourself. This is because for me I thinks it's just useless to belong to a religious sect if you've been violating God's commandment or you're acting contrary to His commands.
How about you, what are your views? Thanks.

Sorry. I still don't know what I am supposed to be saved from. Sin is a man created concept and does not really exist. The whole concept of salvation is an egotistical and selfish preoccupation with self. Quit worrying about how you can be saved from imaginary sin and start thinking how you can prevent or minimize the suffering of others.

The whole world need to be saved. How can you ask such an ignorant question. Dont you see all the sin everywhere. We need to be saved. You cant go around thinking everything is perfect cause its not. Everything needs to be saved.

hello there! I truly agree with you that everything and everybody in the worl today need a saviour. but maybe it's just a matter of choice and opinion or personal assessment on life's situations.. Thanks a lot for sharing your time with us! God Bless!

The God I know would not order us to do anything. He would teach, or give us access to knowledge that would help us to make the right decisions. I also believe that SO many things today that people are doing in the name of God a real God that I would love would never, ever have us do.

Of course God would never order us to do anything. But that doesnt mean we dont have to follow His word. We have to live by His rules, but we choose whether or not we want to.

putting aside the many variations of denominations of religions just out of the Christian faith in general, the whole essence of being 'saved' is to just follow and live by the bible. that's what i believe. there's too many conflicts between faiths within a faith that make people confused on what should be done and what shouldn't. just living your life with good morals weather its by the bible or not your soul should move on to a good place.

Religion will not and cannot save you. If you read the bible it does not say anywhere that religion will save you. I challage you to find a verse in the bible that says that religion or good works will save you. The bible does how ever say that one must be BORN AGAIN to be saved. To be born again you must accept jesus christ as your personal savior. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save you. If you dont have Jesus then nothing else matters.

I agree with you, I believe following Gods word can save you. It is useless to follow any other way if it contraidicts Gods commandment. The only way is to follow Gods word.

Thats your religion and what you feel and believe which is great...FOR YOU...I however feel and believe differently and thats whats great FOR ME..That said though, NO I DONT think ANY religion can save us...only we can save ourselves

A religion sets conducts to be followed for the betterment of an individual, society and world. Just believing in God, Jesus, Buddha or Allah will never save us from anything. Whether we believe in God or not if we follow the good things in a religion and engage in good deeds we can save ourselves without the help of any God or person.
It doesn't mean that we can live alone. What I mean is that we have a great part to act so as to succeed in our lives.

If you're asking id religion can save us, the answer is no, to be save it is not on what sect you are but it is a personal relationship that you have to God, It is your own decision if you wanted to be save.. We christian knows that the only way to be save is Through Jesus Christ, if you accept him as your personal Lord and Savior and follow his teachings you'll be save.... To be a christian is easy but To be real christian isn't easy way..
