I live in the Philippines and as a lot of people would know, Filipinos are really food lovers. We are quite adventurous regarding food and we always make sure to try something new when we have the chance.
On of the most well known in the Filipino kitchen is Kare Kare. It's a kind of beef stew that makes peanuts the main ingredient for the soup and is usually eaten with shrimp past. though shrimp past can be eeky to the smell for foreignrs, a lot of my friends from different parts of the world loved kare kare with it. :)
Aside from kare kare, we still have a variety of PRIDE-FOOD! With hundreds of recipe in the head of a common filipino person, you will never have to cook the same food in a year if you like. :)
So how about you? Where are you from and can you share the best food that your country can offer to its patrons like tourist or emigrants?
Let's get this ball rollin'! :)

Kabayan! There are too many good dishes here in the Philippines. Last night, I had some Tocino with rice, an egg, sliced tomatoes and bagoong! It was really delicious. My girlfriend brought all of these from Tarlac. Kapampangan food is extremely delicious.
