Hey if your studying law enforcement i'm interested in where you stand with your degree, year away from bachelors, have accociates, one semester away from masters degree, etc. I am also interested in what your end goal is. Such as police officer, detective, swat, private investigator, or maybe forensics. I'm studying law enforcement and will have my associates degree in january, and i want to become a sniper on a swat team.

In Spring of '06 I received my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. Currently right now I'm going back to school for an Associates in Crime Scene Investigation. Right now I have my foot in the door at a great agency as a dispatcher. Ultimately I want to be a crime scene investigator to start out with, then work my way up to be a latent print analyist. From my Crime Scene degree I have about 7 more core classes to get done then I will have the degree. It helped already having a Bachelor's as all my basic classes transfered over. Right now I'm taking Fingerprint Classification and Human Anatomy. I figure I will finish this degree either Fall of '09 or Spring of '10 depending on how many classes I take in the next two upcoming semesters. Good luck with your studies! I think being on the swat team would be awesome!! I at one time wanted to be a K9 officer, but I don't think I have the right passion to be an actual officer out on the road everyday. More power to you! Happy my lotting!

Thanks its really nice seeing other people that know what they want to do. I know many people that are constantly changing there major, but to actually know what they want to do is great. I have considered being a k9 officer as well, but not so much in investigation. I guess i want to be right in the action, but without investigators thousands of people would go unpunished for crimes they have committed, so all the jobs in Law Enforcement are very important and i wish you the best of luck in your future. Where is it that you dispatch, i had thought about dispatching, but chose security instead because i needed something more hands on.
