Hi Harley, I have heard of Christians embracing Islam and also of Muslims turning to Christianity. It is too bad that the peoples of the world cannot see that we are all one, and live together in peace and with respect for each other. Even within Christianity, many denominations feel that they alone are right and refuse to associate with those from other churches. I have no problem with people embracing another faith if it makes them happy, but we must all learn to say, "mine is not the only way, mine is just a different way". I know that it will be very difficult for some people to accept this because of the way they have been indoctrinated, but I feel certain that we are moving in that direction. Blessings.

Hi Pose, Thanks for a good reply.
I agree with you that "we are all one and live together in peace and with respect for each other". Yes, We all are humans, our individual belief should not create any walls between us, beliefs are for oneself, it is to be chosen, not to be imposed.
Yea, there are Muslims embracing Christianity and Christians Embracing Islam, if they find it better it is ok to them. As far as I understood, Christians learned about their own religion more are used to accept Islam, and Muslims who lack the knowledge of Islam or who want to get rid of all the rules used to Embrace other beliefs or leave Islam; Not all the cases are like though.
Honestly, I can't say everything is right, then what is the meaning in strictly following my beliefs and it's essence also the basic things contradict and it became impossible to believe all are right. But my belief is to me, and your belief is to you. I may explain my beliefs, if somebody felt convincing may accept it or reject it.
Thanks.

I don't have a problem with Christians embracing Islam if they think its their religion or that Muslims embrace Christianity. In the west there is the freedom of religion, a freedom which is not available in Islam countries. Muslims who embrace Christianity are often persecuted for their religious beliefs because they are considered as traitors. This should not be.

I agree with you, belief is one's choice and it should come from one's heart. Freedom of religion is there in most of the countries except a few. Many Arab countries have Christians, and Jewish as well. There should be a freedom of religion. But a citizen should follow the govt rules.

Many countries including Muslim majority countries have freedom of choice. Only some of the countries don't have it. Some Christian majority countries don't give good freedom to other faiths as well.
Peace.

I really like this discussion. I think it is so very good especially right now with everything going on in the US elections.
I really have no answers to your question. I cannot say what is in someone's heart and mind to go from one religion to another. Talking religion with you is very out of my relm because you have way more knowledge of it than I do.

ZephyrSun,
Thanks for a kind reply,
Hope you have read what is in the link, It is a true story happened some years ago. It is not a spam mails moving around. I was trying to give a true story of how one found his right path in his life and aim of life. Choosing one's belief should come from one's deep heart and from his/her quest and thirst. I'm not a big man of knowledge, I'm just a common man, I like to read. I may not know the many things you know and vice versa. Human should be/is a student in all his/her life.
Thanks.

I did read the links I think that it is wonderful anytime that someone is able to find something that brings them joy. I am not religious by any means but, I know that religion brings happiness to those who seek it. Thank you for your kind words as well.
