me living in the province that is very conservative, it was really a big issue when you a woman not married but engaged in marital relationship, but recently my friends especially those who studied in the city, and stayed in the city says that it is just a usual things to do their especially when you two are boyfriends and girlfriends., and keep on laughing at me that me my self is still a virgin. Was it a crime to stay virgin and live life based on righteousness??

Well there's really nothing wrong with your decision to stay that way. It is definitely okay that you remain that way if you really want to. I also think that for those that lose theirs it is their choice and you just have to respect them if they want it that way.

Being a virgin at 22 is something to be proud of. You have stuck to your virtues and since you are living in a conservative province, it is only natural. Dont feel bad if others laugh at you. They dont know the importance of virginity to a man, and when you marry the guy, he will cherish you all the more, knowing you are a good honest woman.

if it's a crime.. then i almost committed a crime. i was 22 when i had my first. it happened with my 2nd gf who's 3yrs older than me. as a guy i guess i was latebloomer. yeah, i mean i think its the usual thing to do.. but not for first timers. maybe after you experience you 3rd, 4th time.. then maybe you can now say it's usual.

It's not a crime of course! You are still a virgin at 22 beacuse you havn't find that one you really love. After you meet a man you really love, any thing can happen! On the other hand,I think you are wise to keep virgin before you meet the man you really love.

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin at any age. There isn't a competition to lose one's virginity. It should be entirely up to when the person feels they have met the right lover that they would like to give themselves to and not just something one does for the sake of it. I had a conversation recently with a man who was 76 and was still a virgin! Jeeeps! That's going to the other extreme, but most people lose their virginity by the time they are 30, so there's no need to fret and worry about it. :o)
Good question.

there's nothhing wrong with staying a virgin as long as you want to and until you feel ready to do it. i dont think you should purposely deny yourself. if you feel ready and there is someone special, then do it... if not then dont. go with the flow and do what feels right to you. dont make decisions based on what you think society expects or what is "the norm." ya know?

that's really nice. virgin at your age. your future partner might be really lucky. good thing you know how to control yourself. it is not a crime but still being devirginized is also not a crime. its a matter of choice. and with your case your choice was to stay virgin. keep it up girl!
