Does the Rain Excite you?

Every morning without fail i'll get up to see if it's raining. If i see that it is, it puts a smile on my face. I don't understand my fascination with it really but i think it's a combination of the sound, smell and the way it makes everything look different. Whenever im walking along the road i can sense it in the air. My girlfriend hates it of course because whenever i say it's about to rain, it does. She blames it on me. haha. It's almost like that moment in Lost When John Lock predicts the Rain. So, what about you? Does the rain make your day aswell?
