I say that there almost even since ps3 games cost quite a lot of money and no has hacked it yet.On the other hand the games are good with good graphics. The wii is just a step forward in motion sensing technolgy and the games are cheaper with fake games too but the graphics ain't very good ( though better than that if the gamecube) and theres not a very good variety of good games.

What ive noticed about the wii it's more movement based than the others instead of sitting around your being active and is great for a good work out.

now this is something i can get into. ok well first off the wii is pretty much a little older version of the gamecube yet again gearing its system and games more towards happy things and little ones. altho dont get me wrong the bowling and baseball and what not on the demo are good and they do have good games out there for the wii. the new zelda i must was pretty damn good absolutely gorgeous graphics and having a new way to play was a plus. noq ps3 on the other hand to honest im a bit ashamed in some aspects. im not goin to say one system is better then the next thats all just an opinion and we all have those all these systems have there perks and have there faults and they always have. like the dreamcast for instance great system sad release date they would have done better if they would have waited. anywho the ps3 had waaaaaaaaay to much hype ditto goes the xbox 360 but the 360 messed up realy bad with the fact they had to sell there hd drive seperately and put there games on the original 9 gig dvds GOD WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKEN!!. at least sony got it right and decided to put there games on a blue ray disk wich holds a wopping 50 plus gigs of a data on a single disk with an extremely durable disk surface. smart move sony. major mess up...the price sony bad move. um news flash WERE NOT ALL MILLIONARES!! ps3 with the multi level systems was smart but still not as good as it could be.

I think the PS3 is much much better if u r older than 12. It has more fighting/strategy and cool games. And u must know about the super-kool graphics. It's Cell Processor (3.2 GHz) is much advanced than the Wii's (700 MHz) Processor. Also, the Motion Sensing of the Wii is also present in the Ps3's controller. The ps3 has a blu-ray drive which will have an advantage in the near future. It also has a 40GB/80GB HDD compared to Wii's 512MB Flash Storage. Graphics are 200% better on the ps3. But in the end it comes down to ur personal preference. If u like interactive and kiddy games, get the wii. If u like the latest cutting-edge hardware, Full HD Movies and Graphics and cool features, get the PS3

I would have to say that the Wii is better. I would agree with people who say that the PS3 has better graphics. I, however, don't really care too much for graphics. I like how you can move with the Wii. I find the sensor bar and the ability to move your cursor over the screen very cool. I also like the fact that the Wii has connectivity to Wi-Fi. As an added bonus, I love the ability to make Miis on the Wii. I find it fun to make your own character. Would anyone agree with me?

I own a Nintendo Wii and my fiancee owns a PS3. I have played both systems and like the mylotter before me said, it is a matter of preference than it being beneficial. Even though there are a few games on the PS3 that I have downloaded like Pixel Junk and Toy Car Racing, there is not enough of the disc games that catch my attention especially of the RPG variety. Vice Versa for my fiancee as he is more hardcore and plays games like Assassin's Creed for example.
I actually found more games more my speed on my Nintendo Wii. I love my Nintendo Wii for the fact that I can play some old school games that I have not seen in ages and they have cool games coming out now that I cannot wait to get.

It's preference, in the end. You could argue either way but it's personal preference. For example, my preference is more toward the Wii than the PS3 because I like more games on the Wii than on the PS3. However, if you like more games on the PS3 than on the Wii, then the PS3 is the way to go.
Beneficial, though? I don't know what you mean exactly. But I'd say take a look at the capabilities and games and see which suits you better - neither is better inherently. Look at aspects like price, functionality, games, controls, and anything else you think is important in a console.
