I desperately feel the need of vacation which is away from the technical and plastic world. Would like to visit a village which is beyond the reach of any telephone or computer network.
It should be full of flowers and butterflies and birds and greenery all around
It should be a place where life is governed by nature and not by clocks and alarms and schedulers.
An ideal vacation would start with SWITCHING Off the cell phones
Lie down on a terrace watching/counting stars in the sky
No AC or coolers present
Wake up with the first ray of the sun , first chirp of a bird
Get drenched in a nearby river
Get veggies from Farm and cook them in a traditional earthern pot and fire
Smell the freshness of soil and trees and grasses all around
Feel the weather
How refreshing experience would that be !!!!

At this time of writing im actually trying to move out of the city. Im wanting a house or flat back in Tayport, Scotland where im originally from. It's just so small, peaceful and quiet over there.
I totally understand what you mean about getting away from it all. It would do you good. If you get the chnace, go away do it.

I like to have my vacations away from the city. I'm lucky coz my relatives live in a village so I have a great possibility to spend my vacations doing almost nothing. No computers and TV. It's great! Usually the first part of my vacations I spend in a village. I like its nature and take a dog for every day walk to the river. I like warm and even hot weather. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and that herbal smell in the air. And the second part I spend by the sea shore. There I can sleep as long as I want.
