Security feature WEP and WAP on Wifi Routers. How do I configure them.

I have bought a wifi ADSL router and want to maintain a secured network. How do I do that . Have heard of something called WEP/WAP encryption.

Hi there.
The current implications of choosing between these two protocols is the security.
While WEP protocol is to be known as "hackable", WPA are not, because it uses dynamic keys that rotate in time.
So the best option is to enable WPA with TKIP as the encription key type.
This way you'll have a secure yet compatible solution.
