have you ever formatted your pc because it got a virus in the internet?

Yes. When I'm really fed up. But now i have found an excellent anti virus and I update it regularly in the net so it's always updated. But even so i see to it that i back-up imortant files.

yes. i got it at least 10 times till date and i am forced to reformat losing all my valuable data as i do not have a habit of making backup copy. it is very irritating. i have anti-virus program installed but it appear to be of no use. sometimes i really wonder who are those people who made the virus, are they from microsoft, norton etc? i mean while i understand that there are programmers who created these virus to sarbotage other users or to showcase their IT talents, the real winners are those companies that sell us the anti-virus program as most of us will buy from them and we have to keep on paying to upgrade or buy newer software when new virus are detected or released. i had spent hundreds of dollars on AV softwares and i still suffer from attack. now i do not bother anymore. I am using xp and it still happen to me. my last attack was last month when my computer failed to start and boot up.

well... i not familiar on all tis computer and systems... normally my brother will correct all tis things... he noe how to formatted pc... so he will format the pc when he is free... he said formating pc can ensure tat there is no virus...

i have formatted my hard disk about 5 times.Because virus and antispyware have caught it so many times and for that reason i have to format it.But after formatting virus wont go.So i have used some antispyware and antivirus to get rid from them.

Yes I have formatted my PC but not because of viruses. I format only C: drive not a complete format. Because I have a lot of important data in other drives. So whenever I format my PC I only format C: drive.
