How much of your life has been governed by fear?

I would say that during my life I have had some fears but the ones that stand out are basically the fear of the unknown. The unknown things in life I get threatened by sometimes and I feel scared. Sometimes my fears may be needless but I can't help it. I sometimes am afraid of closeness with people also. I have not been very trusting in my life and it scares me to start trusting. I do try though.
