Is it okay if a celebrity is overpaid even if their work did not sell?

When I was surfing the internet I just found out that there celebrities that are overpaid even if their movie did not make well in the box office or their album really doesnt catch up to the market today?Do you think that they are paid because of their name rather than their work?My opinion is no because even though the company might lose a little because of paying them much than they should recieve the ones who are going to suffer are the other people mainly non celebrity who are working for the company?What are your opinion on this subject?Please have your say and have a nice day.
