whats with harry potters novel is it closed now

whats with harry potters novel is it now closeed forever or the author will come up with the new ones more i am just waiting like mad for a new one

Yes the main novel series is now over. But according to the author J K Rowling there is going to be an encyclopedia about the world of Harry Potter which she will write but the time is not known. There are also rumors about a prequel to the series but as far as Harry Potter is concerned J K R has mentioned that there will be no more about Harry Potter in the prequel, she'll just tell us about other stuff.

Unfortunately mate, Deathly hallows was the last one ever. J.K is releasing tales of the beedle bard, that featured in the last book, and there is talk of her writing some kind of encyclopedia about the harry potter world.

Yeah they are done with, unless she desides to make more like more about there kids. That would be a good idea.

Last thing she ever did was a very short story about James and Sirius as a prequel, for charity. She said outright though she had no intention of making it into a whole book though. :(
