do you mind if?

oh boy.........i better respond to this discussion..........i don't want to end up on your "naughty" list. actually, i don't mind when people respond at a later time, i've actually had responses 2 months after starting a discussion. and back at you on that whole beautiful afternoon thing.

Well, I know that I do not log on at Mylot everyday, so I understand completely if some of my friends do not respond right away. Everyone has times when they are busy with other things.

Nope, it doesn't bother me when a member responds to a discussion as long as they respond. I recently had someone respond to a discussion that was 8 or 9 months old. Was glad to have the additional response added to the discussion. I don't always get around to responding to discussions started by members on my friend list. I try real hard but just don't have enough time. It might take me a week or two to make any attempt to get caught up.

The few discussions that I have started it didn't matter to me when someone responded to them. I find that if an old discussion is brought up later on that others see it and it can even bring new friends to you. I also think that some people may not have access each day to a computer or maybe only on weekends they have access to one. We never know why people don't respond the same day but I'm sure they have their reasons. I know too a lot of times when I have a new friend on my list I will check out the discussions they have started and I have been known to respond to an older one.

My friend welcome to MYLOT it does not matter to me if my friend answer my discussions are not because this is an open forum and sometimes they are overwhelmed with their discussions as well so just post/respond and continue to enjoy yourself here in MYLOT.

It doesn't bother me at all whether some responds to my discussions the day I start it or several days later. Not all that want to respond is always on line when I start a discussion. Sometimes people may not be on the internet for a few days or they may not see or get to my discussions as soon as I post it.

It doesn't bother me at all if a person doesn't respond the same day that I post a discussion. People are busy and they are not here on mylot all the time so it may be a case that they just are not here when the discussion gets posted. Another thing is the person may want some time to think about what they are going to respond so they decide to wait a day or two. It doesn't matter.

Hi there, No I don't mind at all when people reply to my discussions, as some people my only log in once a week so they wouldn't be aware of you discussion until then and like someone else said that if someone posts to your discussion say a week later then you are going to get it seen again anyway so sometimes that could be a good thing.

I really don't mind at all if my friends do not respond the same day I initiate a discussion. I reckon that not everyone I know may be aware of discussions I start, nor put a monitor on to inform them each time I start a discussion, so they can check it out quickly. I will be happy already if my closer friends here do give me a response. Of course if they are among the first to do so, it will make my day and bring a smile on my face. But not everybody can do that because of their busy lives and also they may live on the other side of the world so their time zones are different. What I am disappointed with sometimes is that many people on my friend's list don't even contribute to my discussions. They are probably in the list in name only, or perhaps they added me in the hope of getting responses from me.

Hello there! No I do not mind how late people respond to my discussions. I find that it does sometimes take a couple of days for people to actually discover it anyway. And sometimes it takes me a few days to get to peoples and so no, I do not mind at all!

Hi TnWoman, I don't really mind at all whenever I do a discussions Mylot friends usual responds in a few minuts but I don't if its in a day or two because there lots of Mylotters do respond. Have fun, Tamara

It doesn't bother me a bit, I have responded to discussions that was started days or months before, the discussions moves around on the site, and the users that are searching the site for an interesting topic to respond to find it and answers it it,that brings it back to the top or the beginning and that is when I notice it so I respond. I am not on all the time, I have another job so some of the discussions are not on the front page. I don't have all my friends notifications on in my email.

It doesn't bother me if someone responds a few days later. I say better late then never. Some of us are not on mylot everyday, sometimes we just don't have the time to respond to all our friends. I appreciate when someone does respond to me, whenever it is.

TnWoman I am like Mike, I dont really care if its a day, week or whatever, as long as they respond. I know most of my friends do not have as much time to mylot as I do. they are working, and raising their families and are really busy people.I love it that they do respond and often long after I have expected resp;onses so to me they are the best. love them all. hatley

I very seldom start discussions on Mylot but I do respond to almost all that I receive the notifications for.. I can't always respond the first day but I do eventually get around to responding within a couple of days.. I try to get my emails finished up on a first come, first served basis and sometimes it take a couple of day to catch all of them up.. I am not sure that it would make any monetary difference (for Mylot earnings) as to whether it was the first day or not, but it would be a personal preference for the one starting the discussion.. I do believe our afternoons are going to be more beautiful now that Autumn is almost here.. You have a great one also..

Well I use to watch the discussion that I started like a hawk!! LOL I wanted to know if they got responses, who responded. Now I am more relaxed about it. I know that they will get to it when they have time. I am very behind on a lot of discussions right now... Which I seem to like running a little behind better. It give me a lot of discussions to answer at one time.. * when I have time* And another thing that I like about being behind is: If the discussion was removed, I did not waste time responding to it. So no I do not mind if they do not respond in the first day!

I'd nevermind that. It's the question of when, but IF. And if they wouldn't - no problem. Maybe they didn't like the topic? I respect that :)
