What's your favorite movie genre?

I like comedy and love movies genre.

1408 is a bad movie why do critics love this?

I would have to say when it comes to my favorite genre of movie it is a tie between action movies,and comedy movies,I love action movies because I love people fighting and I seeing people shoot each other,and I love being on the edge of my seat never knowing what is going to happen,and I love comedy movies because I love to laugh and laughter is the best medicine,and sometimes watching a comical movie will help me feel better if I am feeling sick or sad.

Well, my favorite movie is actually a musical, but I prefer horror movies better... I just have to say, I heard that they're gonna release a new version of "Friday the 13th", it could be great because its a classic, but I think they should bring more original scripts to the movie screens... Besides that, I love horror movies, even though sometimes -when the movie is REALLY good- I cant get sleep because of it, jajaja I'm gonna go way back and recommend "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Halloween", "Prom night" and "Friday the 13th", the original ones... But I have to hand it to this decade ones also, "Final Destination", "American Psycho", and "The Orphanage" are great films. Xp

By far, horror movies are my favorite too. I like epic movies like 300, Gladiator, Troy, and so on quite well also.

I like horror too, along with drama, independent, comedy, and thrillers, but I especially like documentary. My favorite genre of documentary is social and cultural docs.

I love horror movies, especially the ones that involve zombies. Most of my favorite movies are B rated too. That just goes to show you how much critics actually know. I used to read the movie reviews in Rolling Stone magazine, and then I started to realize that my opinions of movies were the opposite of theirs, so if they trashed something I'd go and see it. LOL

I am not a huge fan or horror movies because I find that they give me bad dreams. However, what I do love is a good suspense. I love stories that appear to be going one way and at the end you have this, "I didn't see that one coming" look on your face. I will admit though some horror movies, that are not hard core horror do have this aspect.
