Past or Future? Where would you go if you would get a TIme Machine and Why?

If I were to get my hands on a Time machine I would take a trip to the past. I would go back and undo all the wrong that was done. I would also go back and warn people about the forth coming dangers due to natural calamities or terrorism. Which one would you chose, The Past or The Future if you got a Time machine? Why?

Because i like the name.hehe I found the name while i was playing warcraft 3. Illidan got the name when he is in skirmish mode. It looked cool to me. So i am using it.

well i would probably go to the future and see if me and my family are alive and know whats new all around me that i could use when i go back...this is a nice topic

Knowing the future is always like may or mayout even if we tell to others no one believe it and going back to past and chaning the past also wont make a better present or future...so i will just keep the time machine with slight movements to know what going to happen next second..which can be called as mere future and will make it more fun and happy.
