I would choose Egypt. I have always been obsessed with Ancient Egyptian. I even know how to properly mumify a body! I have 2 tatoos of hieroglyphics on me. I'd love to see the pyramids and the culture and everything. Egypt has always caught my attention more so then other places. Though, it would be nice to go to all of them!

I have seen the pyramids from the air and that was special. I would love to see Egypt from the ground level next time. It is wonderful that you are obsessed with Ancient Egypt. You have tatoos of hieroglyphics on you, wow. I really hope that you will go on Egypt one day because it would be the perfect destination for you.

My husband and I were talking about going back to the Philipines. There are many snorkeling spots there and beautiful natural spots. The beaches are lovely also. Then next is going to China because we like to go to the Great Wall.

The Philippines sounds like my sort of destination because I love going snorkeling around coral reefs. I am sure seeing the Great Wall of China would be fascinating.

For me it would be a tough decision between Peru and China! Australia and Philippines would also be great so my wife and I could see both of our families; but I have heard from a number of friends that Peru is one of the most beautiful countries they have ever seen and I have always wanted to see the Great Wall of China.

It is fine for you to choose more than one because you have some wonderful reasons for doing so. The Great Wall of China would be an amazing sight and I have always wanted to go there. I would hopefully travel on the train from Moscow to Beijing and so that would be a very long train journey. It would be superb for you to meet your wife's family in the Philippines and for your wife to meet your family in Australia. Yes, I have seen photos of Peru and it looks spectacular James.

Hi, As I've always been fascinated with japanese culture, I'd definitely go to Japan. It's this mixture of tradition and hi-tech world makes it so interesting for me. Also that japanese people are so eager to learn and get to know new things. So Japan - it was the easiest pick of my life :) BTW - no Europe? ;)

I hope that you will be able to walk along some of the Great Wall of China. I know that you would love in in scenic New Zealand and like me would take lots of photos. I thought the North Island was stunning and the South Island was gorgeous. I climbed a mountain, stood next to a glacier, saw yellow eyed penguins and fairy penguins. x

Hmm. I'd love to go to all places. To travel around the world has always been one of my biggest dreams. First of all, I'd love to visit India to see the Taj Mahal. From what I learned from my History class Taj Mahal was built by an emperor in memory of his wife. It's a symbol of love and since I'm a love love I want to see the magnificent work of art for myself. Then all the rest in no particular order. I love traveling...;D

I would have Peru on the top of that list. I think because every person I know who has been to Peru only has good things to say about it. Cuzco interests me and visiting Machu Picchu is one of the things I want to do in my life. I think being up there would be a very spiritual experience. Then I would go for India and Egypt because I have always been fascinated with these two and the people and their culture.

Yes, I have also heard wonderful things about Peru. I hope that you go to Cuzco and then spend a few days there before going up to Machu Picchu. It would be spiritual and really memorable I think. I hope that you see the pyramids in Egypt and the Taj Mahal in India Saint Anne. The world is full of fascinating destinations.

normally I would say just any tropical beach but seeing the list I can actually second that and go with Egypt or Peru in fact, both ! if i can afford it and I have time, these are the places I will go Tropical beach is perfect to have a lazy holiday but there is something about old cultures and history that attracts me probably because the civilization no longer exists

I also have a love and appreciation for tropical islands and I tend to mix a visit to one of those with some history and culture. It is lovely that you would like to go to Egypt and Peru. If you fly to Lima why not stop off in the ABC Islands in the Caribbean. I really like the way you describe why you are interested in ancient civilization.

Hi Maxine, they all sound really wonderful places to visit but for me I think it would be Australia or Peru so a choice between these two really. As you know my daughter has visited Australia so my first choice would be Peru as none of the family have travelled there so it would be a toally new experience to come home to be able to share. Ellie :D

Hi Ellie. Yes, Peru would be an exciting and new destination for you. I know that you would have an enjoyable time in Australia and your daughter would be able to guide your choices of destinations. It is a huge country so traveling by bus and train takes a while so are great on a long holiday. It is superb to fly around on a short holiday. Sydney is my favorite city. Wow! I would love to walk the Inc Trail in Peru, that would be my first choice. Maxine

It is excellent that you have been to Canada and loved it so much that you would like to go there again. It is a huge country so it better to go there a few times than see it all on the first trip. I would love to go to Vancouver, Vancouver Island, The Rocky Mountains, Prince Edward Island and Halifax. If only I could send everyone a ticket to their dream place! I wish! Happy traveling.

I know that you would really enjoy visiting your aunt and seeing some areas of New Zealand. I went there in 2001 and 2002. I had such an amazing time. The landscape is as beautiful as the photos show. I thought wow every time I saw a new view there. The Abel Tasman Walkway is so special and I met a guy that goes there every year from Germany.
