Are you to old to play video games?
I am 32 and would have to admitt I play the Sims and playstation games with my children.
What age should you retire from video games if you think there is a age.

My sentiments exactly.
if it's fun go for it.
If it makes you feel younger, all the better.

Ha! My Grandma was playing the playstation when it first came out and she was in her 70's. I think it is a great source of entertainment ecspecially for her.

Hi Amy, No one is ever too old to do anything, unless forced to. Enjoy yourself with your children. It is really nice what you are doing. I am 52 and do so many things that people say "stop, remember your age"...wow, imagine they keep reminding me of my age when I don't feel old at all. I'm always up and about and ready to go....way to go Amy, keep it up.

I dont believe that you get to old if that is what you enjoy, and I do enjoy some games, I also play SIMS, along with Starcraft, Age of Empires, Nancy Drew games and some others.
My parents who are in their 60's have a WII (is that how it is spelled... lol) and play it everyday and love it!
So Im saying if it is fun for you, you are never to old! Kids just think we are

It's good to see alot agree with no age limit. I guess my daughter thinks 32 is too old. Lol

The average gaming age is much higher than you might think. And also the number of female gamers is surprisingly high.
In terms of the age, it's the result of it being the children of 80s and 90s who are now 20-35.
Also fairly simple casual internet gaming attracts mainly adults 'taking a break' from their working day or from house chores. Kids are away at school during the day and play games only really for a block of time at home in the evenings.

I find myself doing the same with my time. Kids are in school and it is my time to bring out that inner child and have some fun.

I am 54 and still love the games.
I play some of my grandsons games with them.
Also my son has a WII and when I visit him I play some of those games.
So play till your hands and mind ar no longer coordinated.

I don't really think there is an age in which you should stop playing video games. I love playing video games and I'll probably still play them when I'm old and wrinkly and have to use a cane. Video games in my opinion are made for those who want to have fun and know how to. Video games are for everyone so I hope you have fun playing the video games.

Personally, I do not think anyone is ever too old to play video games if that is what they like and they have time to do it! I also think it is great that you sit and play with your children on them, at least you are having time with them and having a bit of fun. I reckon that I am going to have a go at playing on them with my kids too, they have got the sims and it looks really good!

What kind of question is this? That is a terrible way of thinking. So you mean to tell me I have to stop my favorite pastime because I'm getting old? Preposterous! I will never stop playing video games!

I don't think there is an age limit to playing video games. The only issue that would be concerning is if you were obsessively playing.
There is nothing wrong with a hobby, of any kind at any age!

I would agree with you shainastar.. Obsessively playing and not being a responsible person would not be healthy. I also agree with no age limit..
