One of my all time favorite bands PINK FLOYD has lost yet
another of its original members today, Richard Wright, age
65. Richard Wright was one of the early members along with
Roger Waters and Nick Mason along with the late Syd Barrett.
In 1973 they released their album "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON",
which sold more than 40 million copies. So all you PINK
FLOYD fans, tell me what were some of your favorite songs
by this unique musical force...

i just heard this on the radio and thought aww how sad (like 5 mins ago coming back from the concert) my sister absolutely loves them shes away on hols at the moment she will be gutted was going to text her but thought mmm shall wait. Fav song erm thats a hard one breath probably there are alot to choose from lol

Yes, I heard... and wanted to start a discussion about it but didn't have time to before now (10 pm). Glad you did. As for my favorite? Other than all of them? Probably all of Dark Side. Or maybe, Money...

I just saw this news a few minutes ago. All the really great ones are dying, it seems. Without a doubt, my favorite Pink Floyd song is "Another Brick in the Wall." I think Pink Floyd's place in musical history is secure. Take care.

pretty much anything that Pink Floyd did was pure masterpiece.
but my favorite along with probably half the human population has got to be anything from "Dark Side Of The Moon"
i was extremely privileged to have seen Pink Floyd when there "Momentary Lapse Of Reason" tour came tripping through The Metrodome in Minneapolis a few years ago.

it's sad to see Richard go

Hi Opal26,
I was never a Pink Floyd fan but my husband was and still is and he has got a lot of their tracks including "Dark Side Of The Moon" my husband used to play their album over and over till I have to shout at him to turn it down or turn it off, he is like a big kid and now he has not played for a long time.

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is my favorite and just about everthing else they wrote! :)
I am having a toast to Richard and I'll also be having a toast to Australian Pink Floyd... Grateful that they can re-live the original band so faithfully! :)
