Well, you should know by now that you can't please everyone so you have to please yourself. A line from an old song but still true today.

I've learned that they can only put you down if you let them. Don't let them! Rise above the situation. Don't let them get the better of you. Do the opposite of what they do. Maybe they will learn. Even if they don't you will feel better.

We just have to accept the fact that there's no way we can please everybody. It may seem that nobody appreciates your effort but please don't say you can't please anyone at all. I'm sure you've made someone happy one way or another. But you should start with yourself as well. You see, if you always think that you can't do anything right, you've judged yourself and therefore you can't make yourself happy as well. Try to chill out a little, don't be too hard on yourself. Try talking to your loveones, asked them if they haven't been happy with your actions, I'm sure they will assure you otherwise. Don't worry too much ok?

Hi there raynebowx5!
There really is no way to please everyone. We just have to be the best that we can be without worrying too much about what other people think about us. As long as we do not step on people's toes of course. Don't you think that what you are currently feeling right now is just your perception? Have you talked to your kids and your husband about how you feel. Sometimes, we feel this way only to find out that it was just our perception. Good luck!

It's impossible to please everyone all the time. So don't even try. Remember that no one can make you feel inferior without your permission. I believe someone famous said that. Possibily Elenor Roosevelt. But, just think of what you have done to please some one. Even if it was something small that brought joy to someone. Maybe you held the door open for someone, or helped one of your kids do something. Maybe you called someone just to say hi and brightened their day. It's doesn't have to be a major thing. Hold onto that feeling when other's are giving you a hard time. Of course, my favorite thing is that if you don't like it the way I do it, then do it yourself. But I know that's not always feasible.
