How the mental health feild is treating depression and anxiey

I was just wondering how other feel about the mental health system. I live in Canada and suffer from depression and anxiety. Does it differ in the US? does the system work? I was wondering if any of you had an opinion on the matter. I personally think thy aren't doing as much as they should be doing. However I do live in a rural area. Urban areas might be different. So if anyone would like to give there opinion it would be most appreciated.
