Do you have a kind boss?

Hi Leslie, it depends. Well, I've had a very difficult boss in my younger days - he sent deadlines that seem impossible, we have to really stretch ourselves. I was expected to be learn fast and be independent. Hours were long, and work was tough - many times I wanted to quit. And you know what - after a period of 6 months with him, I realised that he was grooming me for a higher position - the obstacles & ridiculous deadlines were nothing but challenges. Now as I look back, I realise that he was tough; his expectations were high. But I was given an opportunity to learn and prove myself. A kinder boss might not have pushed me that hard; but then I wouldn't have discovered my strengths. So it very much depends - is your boss difficult or just mean?

Yes I have a wonderful boss. She is funny and easy going with a creative sense of humor. She lets me get there when I want, leave when I want and take as long a lunch as I want. I have no dress code and I never get yelled at when I take a personal call. I'm encouraged to chat on the computer and create blogs for personal gain. Yes my boss is quite a gal.....she's me! lol, just some humor. I work for myself and as you can see, I love it!

what a wonderful question, hehe..i didnt have a wonderful boss,she is a beautiful boss though she was one of the most terror bosses of the company. all managers lose their minds when they stand infront of her and reason out why this and that happens. one look in the eye could kill you, she was very scary, especially during peak working hours. but i know deep inside she is kindhearted, when is into a good mood, she jokes around and shares her foods. she is not physically beautiful, she is too professional, but i know she is ready to defend her staff anytime. we are the same , we got difficult bosses. but am not working there right now and good thing am no longer under her coz she got a very complicated mood swings.
