By laptop users I mean you exclusively use a laptop for all your computer needs . Anyways my question is do you always keep your laptop on power I mean are they always being charged or do you charge it and then run it on batteries and when it needs to be charged then only you charge it???
My laptop charger is always connected to the socket . Is this bad??
I just remove it in the night when I shut my laptop and go to sleep.
Thanks for your time.

I dont know exactly if its good or not. In my side i will just plug the charger if the battery is need to be charged and if its full i unplug it. If i log it off i also remove the charger even though the battery is not yet full. I never know if it can destroyed the batter if its over charged.. Sorry i cant answer your question.

What you should do depends upon the type of battery in your laptop .....Most laptops no have lithium ion battery which can store charge when not in use for a longer time than most other batteries... You should charge then use on battery power before charging at the next conveinent moment .You can charge at any point during use without a deteriating effect on the battery as it dose not have a memory effect like Ni Cd batteries. WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES, DO NOT FULLY DISCHARGE!! This can ruin the battery .

I always keep it plugged in so I am always ready for class. Mine is a dual processor, so if my charge is low I will disable my secondary processor to give it an extra half hour. Yay mac!

I do that everytime I'm at home, laptop plugged in until I wake up from sleep. I put it a rest anyways when I'm at school.
Im not sure about its effects on the battery or whatever but as much as possible i try to take a rest from charge-recharge thingy.
To save a battery for your laptop you might try:
-turning laptop on powersaver mode
-decrease brightness
-decrease time for turning off display
-when laptop is asleep, unplug any USB mouse, flash drive plugged in it
-avoid excessive gaming (can't help it.
