Have you ever withdraw your money from alertpay by cheque? I am going to cashout after this month. But I am in a hesitation. There are many banks in my country and I am sure they are not in other countries. Though there are some international bank but I have no account with them. Now, I am not sure which bank check alertpay will send. If, they send a bank check which is not in my country then what will I do? All of my money will go in vain. Alertpay only support sending money to my country by cheqe, so no wire transer option. What you think? Can you give some sugeestion or also in the same problem like me?

Which country are you from? The banks will charge you a hell and eat your money. If you can wait till november, then alertpay will issue their own debit cards which can be used anywhere with a minimal charge. When I contacted them, they said positively before the end of this year, few countries will be added and debit cards will be issued.

Hi,
You need not buy the debit card. The debit card will be a free card. You can withdraw 500 dollars on a single day from any atm, for single withdrawal you will be charged 2 dollars. It works like any other debit card.

Hi bdsurf,
I'm from the Caribbean. Here is my advice...go to the bank that you are in and go to their customer service area and ask about their policy when it comes to international checks in the USD currency. They should also tell you the fees they charge to change the money from USD to your local currency and how long the check should take to clear.
I requested a check once from them. It took approx. 2 weeks to arrive. When it comes you can't miss it cause the envelope has their company logo printed on it.
Inside there is a whole "letter" attached to your check.
This letter just talks about how they strive to keep their customers satisfied and such.
Anyway, you just tear off the check from the letter and take it into the bank.
There my bank verified it was from a real company before accepting it and then
they proceeded to do up the paperwork needed. All I had to do now was wait for the money to be deposited into my account and that's it!
Anyway, go to your bank and find out their policies before proceeding.
That's the best thing to do.

I withdrew only $20usd (the minimum amount they allow you to withdraw by check)
just to test out the system. My bank charged me $2usd. They also told me this fee would apply for any amount of money on the check. So I am waiting to build up alot more cash before I request another check, besides...I did hear about the debit card too and I feel I would prefer that method myself...so maybe I can wait till then.
