An online newspaper revealed that England is the MOST crowded country in Europe, thanks to immigration.

I live in Malta. My country has been rated as the mostly densely populated in Europe even ahead of England. To make matters worse we are faced with boats loads of illegal immigrants entering our shores. Most of them are without proper identification, and it makes it difficult to check whether they are genuine asylum seekers or not. This has been gong on for years. Unfortunately they are ending being exploited in the building industry or doing odd jobs without the proper health and safety measures.
What do you think about immigration? Is it a blessing or a curse?

Yes I agree that for many people especially from the African region is beneficial to go to Europe but the countries such as Italy and Malta it is really taxing to have lots of illegal immigrants each year.

Malta is a small sunny island. It is located between North Africa and Italy so it makes it a good spot for illegal immigrants from Libya who cross by boats. Most of them their destination is Italy but many of them end up in Malta.

if those who work in immigration do it right
there shouldn't be any case of illegal immigration, by boat or whatever transportation
nowadays it's hard for everyone to make a living
unless of course they were born in royal family or rich family
but for regular people the govt has to make sure there is enough opportunity
illegal immigrants do not pay taxes like everyone else, so they shouldn't be accepted in the beginning even if they arrive sick because really they make the choice to enter illegally they can't be accepted while legal immigrants have to spend time and money for paperwork

As a Maltese i pity them but we have to move on. In my opinion the goverment has to make more pressure on UE to do something like transfer the illegal immigrants to other countries or something of that sort!
