Which would you prefer, a pencil or a pen?

it depends actually, but I like the sound and the feeling whenever I grip a pencil. Usually when I'm dealing with my thoughts which overflows most of the time, I'd choose to use a pencil. However for writings that requires permanence, I'd choose to write it with a pen..^^

pen, mainly because pencil can be rubbed out, which takes time and is annoying. why not just cross it out? also pencil marks are easily smudged, making them messy. I also agree that pen is for permanence

I prefer using a pen because the writing is more clear unlike pencil that you still need to sharpen it. If ever that my creative side floats and I want to draw I use pencil of course.
