Best birthday gift for your boy/girlfriend!

Its very difficult to find a best gift for our partners during birthdays because we want to have a meaningful and useful gift and it should be the best among the gifts...so tell me what is your idea for a best birthday gift?

the last gift i got her was lunch at a japanese restaurant(her favourite) and a kiss after that.. And yes, I bought her a teddy bear and she loves it(doesn't work all the time OK!)
I've always been lost trying to figure out gifts, just tell her,
"The best gift is ME!"

Well you can try it, but bear in mind that my gf is an extreamly nice person, she doesn't demand of me thus that "gift" is good for her..
I wouldn't know about the rest really ....

My boyfriend's birthday just passed and i got him an ipod (he's been wanting one for so long). he loved it of course... who wouldnt? ha. I was actually jealous of it b/c I got him an new ipod nano and i'm stuck with my old ipod Mini. ha... i mean, it works but it doesnt have the bells and whistles that the new ipod has. oh well, maybe i'll ask for a new one for christmas.

A good birthday gift can be a gift that shows that u care for him/her. An example would be, if he/she loves music, sing a song/ play a instrument(love songs) for him/her(probably work best if its the 1st time u done it for him/her). If you are planning to buy a gift. You will 1st need to know what he/she likes (colour/brands...). With this, its easier to narrow down your choices.-------------
Maybe you can put urself in a box, and send it to her house =) (drama~) it would be a big surprise for him/she
