Does anyone do this? I was thinking about doing some crafts and when I get good at them selling them for some extra income. Does anyone do this or have any advice for this kind of thing? I don't know if I should look into local events or what... I know our city has a thing called first Friday which local art makers get together and sell stuff but I believe its for high rolling artists lol. Theres also a farmers market... but Im just not sure -- I need help on figuring out where to start! Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated!

i sell handmade jewellery on ebay and in other places, i have asked a coupleof local stores to stock my items, but i am always a bit paranoid that they will try and d*** me out of my money! but thats just me. What kind of crafts do you do? farmers market would be a good idea and it cant do you any harm to try for that first friday thing, whats the worst that could happen? Try local independent stores and see if they will stock your crafts, try ebay, craigslist amazon etc. Tell people you are an up and coming artist, whose to say you are not? good luck

I like to do all sorts of crafts... I'm trying to figure out what I'm really good at right now though lol I'm just thinking ahead right now. I am looking into doing woodworking, or just turning things into new things from 2nd hand shops. I love being creative and really thinking outside the box. Thanks for the response though I will keep that in mind.
