With leadership and decision making ability in constant question to Barack Obama is it feasable for him to dump Joe Biden or will it be a real taste of his inability to make a decision and stick with it? The following article examines this real possibility and how it is being discussed in democratic circles.

Ok, Rodney, I read part of it...until I got to where the plan was to dump Biden *after* the vice presidental debate and that's when I couldn't take anymore for several reasons.
First of all, before I read the article you linked me to I took a look around to see where I was and saw that I was in McCainland, so anything I read there was biased.
Secondly, I'm 100% certain that Joe Biden can more than handle himself during the debate so it wouldn't make sense to replace him after he scores points there.
And finally, *IF* Hillary agreed to come riding in to save the day...as second choice mind you...she would definitely insist on it happening before the debate so that she could use that platform to rip Palin to apart and to energize her base.
So, the entire premise does not make sense and, no, it's not likely to happen.
What is likely to happen is that John McCain will go down in flames if he does not get all of the scandal surrounding Palin out of the picture because it's starting to make him look corrupt as well.

Spalladino,
Thanks for the comment. You relly should have read the whole article. Even though you were in "McCainland" the author was very objective about all of it, even the poll numbers. I ask you though; what if she destroys Biden in October?

It's always possible that Palin could score points on Biden but you have to remember that he's a seasoned member of the legislature and has a lot of experience with debates. I really do believe though that if Hillary were to agree to come aboard, she would want the media attention from the debate...and so would her supporters.

I just wonder how true this really is as I am always sceptical of unnamed sources. I do believe that never would McCain dump Palin but Obama dumping Biden and getting Clinton is a long shot. I do not think Biden would mind too much but whether Clinton would accept is another question. It would certain lure the many departed Democrats back if Clinton was VP.

Whiteheather,
Thanks for the comment. I don't know if it is true but the author was pretty objective about the whole subject and I think he was actually saying it would be a mistake for Obama to do so.

If Obama did that I think it would be over for him, because it would prove his inability to make a decision and stick by it.
It would indicate that he is not capable of doing the president's job, because he would be making decisions based on nothing more than whimsy.
As it is, he has already changed his position on the issues numerous times.
