From a nutricianal stand point...after. To help in the digestion and obsorbtion of foods eaten. Though most of us drink while we eat...I don't think it is harmful as long as you don't allow your self to fill up on liguids and not the food self...We need the nutirients and fiber that food offers..

Ive always heard after a meal cause you will have food in your stomache.. But also i think it depends how fast you want to get drunk I think if you don't eat before doesn't the drink get to you faster.. I don't really know thats just what i have heard.
