What Did You Want To Be When You Grew Up?

I wanted to be a youth counselor or something to that effect! But I am now just a stay at home girlfriend with no life at all!

I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. And later on in my youth I wanted the same. But, life comes at you fast. I have been a bag lady (worked in a factory that made plastic bags), a Dunkin Dolly (worked at Dunkin Donuts), telephone sales, chambermaid, quality control for a fabric manufacturer, guidance secretary for a high school, attendance secretary for a high school, discipline secretary for a high school, ran the copy center for a high school, and more recently I worked as a Certified Mastectomy Fitter. My most rewarding was the Mastectomy Fitter.

I went through lots of phases as a child. I wanted to be a nurse, a beautician, a restaurant owner, a teacher, and a singer (yeah right!) Now I am a cleaning lady and a mom. :)

From when I was quite young I wanted to be a nursery nurse. When I reached forty I went to college and did the course. I never did become what I wanted to be but it helped my confidence and I've since had a number of different jobs working with children.

Actually Im not yet decided on what I want to be when I grow up. Since taht when I was a kid I always wanted to be a computer engineer then now that Im in High School I'm having toughts if I want to be a nurse or a doctor but after seeing an accident I don't think I can handle being a nurse or a doctor because of those bloods and other discusting stuffs. And now I'm thinking what if I try to become an actress or a newscaster that would be great and it doesn't involve any yucky stuffs. So, In conclusion, Im still confused and I still dont know what to do...

I wanted to be a lawyer. Now i am in college for criminal justice. Im thinking a juvenile probation officer would be a good job for me. I will get a chance to help teens...help point them in the right direction.

I wanted to be a nurse. I worked at a nursing home as an aide and I worked at my local ambulance service, but I never became a nurse. Now I just take care of kids and do work on the computer. But I am thinking of looking into becoming involved with animal care, like at a vet hospital or an animal rescue.

I wanted to be a soldier, then an astronaut. I gave up on the astronaut because I have poor vision, I might be joining the USMC still in the future. Though right now I work in conservation.
