How do you get scammed from PTC sites?

I'm not too familiar with PTC although I've been using bux3 and bux.to lately. I've seen some discussion on here people saying they have gotten scammed from PTC sites. How do they scam you? Do they steal money out of your account or what? So far everything is going fine with bux3 and bux.to so I'm not really sure how they can scam you. A little help clearing the confusion would really be nice :D. Thanks in advance.

That means they don't pay out. They don't get the cash that they were promised - so they wasted their time on a lot of things that didn't convert into dollars. They can also scam you by suddenly disabling your account when you're about to reach your minimum payout.
I found a good blog entry on these, he even listed a lot the scam lists that he found. I don't own the blog so don't worry about it :P
