So I was out at the bar awhile ago with my friend and a couple guys she knew came and sat with us... they were super boring. I mean to the point where I was pretty hammered and I still didn't find them interesting in the least. So anyway, we were talking about going to some lame party after and one of the guys mentioned something about my friend getting hit on. Now, she has a boyfriend and I jokingly said, "don't worry, I'm her c0ckblocker." One of the guys looks at me straight-faced and says,
"What, were you raped or something? Is that why you hate guys?"
I mean, completely unprovoked... everyone just kind of gasped... because I mean, wtf dude? Who says something like that? And so I simply said, "That is really rude to say to someone you know nothing about." And this d-bag had the nerve to ARGUE with me... he ends up with, "Well, I know you weren't raped because girls who were raped don't go out to the bars." Ugh...
What. The. Pooey?!

I say that you did the right thing and it doesnt matter what that guy said all that matters is that you was being a really good friend. All that dumba** was wanting anyways was to get some action. If that waz me and my friend, I would have asked that guy "how would you know if a woman has been raped or not, why are a rapist?" I would have said it really loud so he would have gotten embarrassed. I wouldnt have said anything, next time think of a really good come back. That way next time something like that happens you will be laughing about it rather than gettin mad over someone who doesnt matter. Dont get me wrong now it was messed up what he said and he shouldnt have said that, but you gotta think about KARMA. I belive in it and if you do or not its real.

that's funny. You meet some really weird guys in bars. And the thing is that the one's who are ingorant to you are just pissed cause they're not getting any!! I hate all men who go to bars. I have learned my lesson twice about picking up guys in bars. Unless I know you personally then please don't talk to me!

It gets me that there are still men out there that are that small minded and bigotted. Men like that can't handle women with a sense of self & a sense of humour. Seems obvious he'd had a sense of humour bypass from the beginning.
It kinda makes me think they thought you should be grateful they were talking to you, sounds more like you were doing them the favour by even listening to them!
Fancy saying that to a woman, what if it had have happened to you? Wouldn't that have been really awful?
I would have told him to get a life too!

super disgusting, irritating and boring guy. If I were you I would have taken an excuse to go away. I dislike boring people. I mean when they think they are so smart and interesting when it's actually not. I can understand exactly how you feel!

OH GAWD.... that is just the rudest thing ever. He should never have said that. Wow, either he was hammered to or just a HUGE JERK.... actually, he was probably both. I hate bar jerks. One time my friend "blocked" this dude from flirting with me b/c he was kind of annoying and i have a boyfriend and yada yada. so he proceedes to call her obsene and offensive names the rest of the night. everytime he walked by.... we got him kick out of the bar tho. hhahahahha. sweeeeet.

I would've slapped the guy! I was raped but once I turned 19 you couldn't keep me away from the bar. Just because a woman is raped does not mean she can't go to a bar. Some people are just ignorant and can't stand being turned down *sigh*
