Anyone belongs to Chemical Engineering ?

I use several chemicals but I don't have any formal training other than what I have learned by doing. My hobby is recovering Gold. Mostly from electronic scrap and I use mostly Nitric Acid which I make and HCL.I know enough about it to get me by but I would like to know a lot more. I also have people that send me samples for testing from all over the US. I came up with a new method of testing that will detect down to about 2 PPM.
