Water bottles that contain Bisphenol A -- also known as BPA -- raise the risk of heart disease and diabetes in people, according to a new study. http://www.4029tv.com/health/17484739/detail.html?treets=fts&tid=2656340438813&tml=fts_12pm&tmi=fts_12pm_1_12000709162008&ts=H#
Does this scare you? Do you currently use a plastic bottle to drink water? Do your kids?

There seem to be a lot of very frightened people, but it's easy to stay away from the questionable bottles. The number on the bottom, in the triangle, is 7. The rest are OK.

Well...this might be scary, but think about people eating cup ramen who heat the styrofoam cups in the microwave or pour boiling water straight into the cups to cook the noodles. This like melts the styrofoam and you eat it. I guess you could draw parallels to this problem. I mean...there are risks in everything you eat. Phenylketoneurics or whatever's in Sweet n'Low, Equal, and other artificial sweeteners can cause cancer. Everything carries a risk. I mean even the water might be hazardous to your health. Many people complain about the fluoride in water. I forget what this does to your body, but the water from tap contains many other minerals like calcium, magnesium, and who knows what else. We can't worry about every single thing (unless you're OCD of course) otherwise we won't have time for anything else.
