Hey everyone,
I have seen in some places that the PSP in actual fact has an 802.11g wireless card but it is configured only to use 802.11b.
Here is a link to a forum: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?message.uid=33750366#U33750366
What do you guys think on this?

I'm not sure really, but it's definitely very slow either way. I have a psp (fat) and it runs the internet at a snail's pace. I think it might even be slower than when I had dial-up for internet service 10 years ago. One thing that's certain is that the PSP is one of the best handheld gaming devices. I've had so much fun on mine! The are endless numbers of RPGs and I haven't even gotten started on so many of them. If you have a homebrew-enabled PSP, the possibilities are ALMOST limitless. All-in-all, Sony's PSP rocks! Yeah...but don't try doing much on the internet with it. Facebook doesn't work. Basically sites requiring memory don't work well. Mine always displays "not enough memory" or whatever when I try to visit sites like Facebook. However, it's a very convenient way for you to check you email on the go.
