Dont go out after dark

When the sun starts to set I watch the beatiful rays of gold, orange, and pink slowly fade away. As if a goodbye to a friend that I am thankful to see the next day. You can't go outside around hear after dark, the things they try to keep silent in the news. Those are the things we hide from, that cause the inner bruise.

Yes, I am a person who likes an equal balance of space and togetherness; assuming you are speaking of personal space. If you are speaking of the vast Universe well I Love this too. I used to be able to go out and enjoy the starry sky, listen to the creatures of the night sing their songs. The town in which I live has been infiltrated by gangs from all areas and what was once a cozy beach tourist town is now a place where little innocent children get shot and other unspeakable things happen after dark.

That's a nice little poem you've written there. It's sad isn't it, that we should feel unsafe in the dark outside our homes? I rather enjoy going out in the dark to take walks or just to have some me time to sit on the deck alone. I must admit though, that the fear is there cause I do carry a weapon with me when I do those things.
