can you keep a secret?

first...hi...and welcome to mylot....well i can keep secrets but it happens sometimes that whenever i keep a secret, i feel the urge to tell it to someone who has got nothing to do about it....like once a friend of mine told me a secret and i told it to my cousin who lives in london...and i am in india , so how could anyone know it,...but stupidily enough i told him on a social networking site , so everyone in the city came to know...l.lol

i keep secrets like they're my own. i keep secrets til it will die down naturally. til the time when it's not significant anymore. people trust me too much and it's giving me pressure because i need to keep them in order to protect them.
