do you think god creates all siutations in your life or do you create them

I don't feel that God creates all situations in anyones life, he gives us the brain to make choices with. We have opportunity, a path and there is one way that we could go and there is the other way that we could go, but God doesn't tell us which ones to take, he just helps us why we go through them. I used to be the same way, but we have to be responsible for our own choices. Everything is under God, but he loves us enough to let us make choices for ourselves. Of course he knows what we are doing before we do, but he still gives us the opportunity to go through it to make us a better person to serve him. What an awesome God he is. Great discussion.

I don't think that God or the gods really have much to do with it. Unfortunately, I don't think I have much to do with the circumstances of my life either. I believe that most of our lives are a product of the society we live in, who we were born to, etc. We can certainly make choices or try to make the best of what kind of situation has been created for us, but in the long run I don't think we make most of the decisions about how our lives go. Right now, I am in a place in life where I cannot find a job because there is a huge scarcity of jobs. This is not my fault- it is just the way the economy is right now, due to war and the government and so on and so forth. It's just the time and place I happen to be in. That's how it is.

I am a non-believer but I do believe in God. I believe that life works in a cause and effect system. That's how the freewill applied in human life. What's happening to you now somehow has something related with what you've done before. If you are familiar with the butterfly effect movie, you would understand what I mean. I am not saying that God doesn't have anything to do with things in this world. Yes he do create something, but for our life in general, something that is not related with fate, I see it as a cause and effect as a result of my choice on my freewill. We are given the freedom to choose what we're going to do and when you do that you've understand completely the risk of things that you've done.

I believe we pave the path we travel. God is not to blame for every mistake we make. I look to God for guidance when I feel something is wrong.
