In many if not all of the mylot groups I see people asking for and giving others advice on various issues, I do it my self. what I would like to know is how many of you actually do what you write here on mylot or tell others to do. For example, some say trust and honesty are very important in a relationship, do you tell your partner everything? some crib about not following traffic rules, how many have you broken today? do you mean what you write here on mylot or do you just write to increase your numbers?
Happy mylotting.

Joy4you, I try to be honest in what I write here at Mylot. I figure, if I tell a lie, then I might forget where I told the lie and get caught in it. I guess I'm honest to a fault. My husband once asked me if maybe we were too honest. We have always been ones to tell the truth and taught our kids to do the same.

I understand what you mean to raise this discussion. Listen good things comes to the brain of a person who is of right approach to wards the life. If some one is asking others to follow some thing take it sure that he has first at one time applied on them self also. There may be some special case where people use to pose and they are not in reality. See here at my lot we are exchanging our views and we are not face to face to embarrass any of us if doing not what we say. What one can gain to tell forged stories.

When I answered a thread here, I make it sure that the idea or the thought really comes from my experiences or right thinking. If I don't have any opinion or doesn't know the answer because I haven't experience it yet, I did not answer it at all. I do give an honest answers here.

Well, I feel I am pretty much the same way here on myLot as I am in person, so when I offer advice, or start a New discussion, etc. this is exactly how I am in person, and respond back to how I really feel, or what I would do if it was me. I feel that this is the only way to go, as when you are not truthful about something, even here, it could come back to bite you in the end.

I cannot say anything that I haven't proved wise. For those who I have given advices, be assured that all I said was coming from an experienced heart.
To cut it short, yes, I do what I say.

I am honest when I post on MyLot. However, with respect to whether I "do as I say", sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. for example, if someone posts that their cat is acting strangely and may be ill and asks for advice, I recommend that I take them to see the vet. Of course, I realize that they may be experiencing financial issues that prevent them taking that advice. Similarly, while I think that advice is the right thing to suggest in that case, if I am experiencing financial difficulties I may not be able to take my cat to the vet right now even as I am recommending that someone else takes their cat to the vet. Also, if someone asks for advice on losing weight or a particular diet, I may make suggestions about healthy eating in moderation, etc. I think that is good advice even though I may have trouble sticking to a weight loss plan myself. I don't think it makes me dishonest.

i'm quite serious about my discussion . the discussion i start or the discussion i respond are all my concern.
also i read my discussion too as a reading material. do you notice that my posts are much much longer than it used to be ? the reason behind this is i'm really serious about topic choosing, i spend quite a lot time on finding the relevant piectures and discussions, then i upload them.

I answer always with honesty and from my own experience and alot of what I write is mostly assumption because not every given situation have I experienced but I know my own charater very well so I can give a pretty confident reply. I do take your point though we always give positive replies and I do wonder how much is influenced by the dollar but then if we were nasty all the time regardless of the potential to earn, you wouldn't last long here anyways.
