Which on do you prefer cash only or credit cards? I personally like cash only. I just hate using my credit card. I mean it is like once people know that you have one they want you to keep putting stuff on it. Anyways how about you?

Credit cards are used for availing credits, when you do not wish to part with your cash. You get the freedom of re-paying the amount after 15-45 days, depending upon the billing cycle. If one gets a credit card, it should be used for the sake of convenience and not for availing credit. Ultimately, it is the person concerned who has to make the payment. If you go in a planed manner, you can pay your credit card bills regularly. You need to keep a check on the date of payment, which should be atleast 5-6 days fromt he last date of payment. You need to alert in order to make the timely payment.

Most of the time I prefer cash. Simply because with the credit card it's not instant. There is a wait time that you have until the business withdraws the funds. Once I had a business actually hold my purchase for 2 weeks before taking it from my credit card. Talk about a long wait. I was calling all around because i thought that I had miscalcualted. See with cash it's so much easier, pay it's already gone, and you don't have to worry about miscalculating anything. With cards you have to make it down to the t. There is no second guessing, and if you do happen to you have to wait like a week or two to make sure all of your puchases ran through. That's the only thing that I dislike about them. Great discussion.

I rarely ever carry cash with me anymore, so I usually use my debit card.
