Afraid of number 13?

There was a printed advertisement of a soon-to-open classy village that was given to me when I was shopping at the mall. It included a sketch of the whole area - the playground, the swimming pool, the club house, the number of blocks and entrance and exits in the village. I was surprised to find out that there was no Block 13! I read the paper again, closely examining it this time and I found that there was really no Block 13. I have read an article from a well-reknowned writer about paranormal phenomena discussing theories about the fear of number 13 or Friday the 13th, in particular. According to him, in numerology and astrology,number 12 is considered the number of completeness. Number 13 is considered as odd, irregular and disturbs the completeness of things. The belief that Friday the 13th is unlucky began in the 19th century. There is now even a word for the fear of Friday the 13th:"paraskavedekatriaphobia" which is made up of the Greek words, "Paraskevi"(Friday) and "Dekatreis" (13) attached to "phobia"(fear). Fear of number 13 alone is "triskaidekaphobia". Have you encountered going in a building and find out there is no 13th floor? or no 13th room? What are your experiences? Please share your experience.
