What is the meaning if your pets name?

Currently i have three cats at home. One is name Kaya, Nemo and Ariel. All the names were given by my children.
Kaya has two meaning. One is rich but for my cats because her fur has the colour of egg custard. Nemo is because his orange colour. And Ariel, her name was given by my daughter and Ariel was the disneys little mermaid name. its her favourite character.

i named my cat "Chitkoo" which means small and cute
i named it so because when i found him he was very scared and was hardly a month old.
and now i believe that the name suited it best since he really turned out to be a smart and cute cat

My dog's name were Simba, Sarah and Rosie. While Sarah and Rosie were named by their breeder and I chose to continue calling them by that name, I choose simba for my sable dog. I am not very original at finding names, so I called my dog after the Lion King character.
