A stray bullet hit a few meters away from my room. I was sound asleep last night and I did not even hear anything. When I woke up today, my mom said that they saw a bullet on the floor outside my room. What if that bullet really hit me. I suddenly realize how lucky I am for I am still alive. I thank God for keeping me always safe and for giving me such a wonderful life. I remembered how valuable our lives are and that it can be taken by God any time. We should always live each day of our lives as if it were our last. Happy mylotting!

We didn't hear any news of a shoot out. We don't really know where it came from. My family and I are just happy that I am still alive. Thanks for your concern. And above all, Thank you God!

That IS scary. When I was younger, a friend of ours found a bullet on his bed. That was New Year's day (early morning). We were saying he was lucky because what if he was asleep at that time? He probably never woke up anymore. There is a reason why you are still alive and why that bullet stayed outside your room. Thank God no one was hurt.

oh my god. it is really very scary. Which part of the world are you living? It is really a very very dirty world, that is becoming. I have read in today's newspapers, that a GIRL -- Indian girl student, was BRUTALLY KILLED along with her BROTHER near an UNIVERSITY in USA. you are really lucky to have been still alive. and more lucky for not being hurt. May all the goodluck be with you always.

I thought this was a scene from CSI. I thought this only happens on TV on in the movies. You are really lucky that the bullet missed you. Are you living in a dangerous or crime zone? Does anybody know who actually fired the shot? It sounded like a dangerous neighborhood or could this be an accident as well as an isolated case in your area? These days crime are on the rise especially when inflation is kicking in where things are getting more and more expensive to purchase. Most people who could not really do anything have resulted into going for criminals activities just to make ends meet. it is a sad world out there. Anyway, sorry for digressing and hope that you would have a good day!

Wow I am glad that you were not hit by the bullet. I am very happy that you survived to tell this tale. I dont know what I would do if there were a bullet that was going towards me. I thinkt the idea that someone could go shooting bullets in our neighborhood is really kind of scary. I think that I would not be happy wiht that at all.

Hi tidgea, this is something that happen everyday to any of us and I'm sorry that it happened to you. But I suppose it wasn't your time to go yet and be thankful for that. I'm glad that you are able to escape unharmed and unscathed. Be sure to take extra careful in future. Well, but if you are asleep then it wouldn't really be easy but I do pray for your safety. Are you living in a very danger neighborhood..? You might want to consider living somewhere else should it be a danger neighborhood. Take care once more.

God was certainly in the midst of what happened to you. You can say all the what ifs there are, but the answer should always be WHAT IF GOD WASN'T THERE FOR ME. We are living one minute to the next these days, and must be grateful for everything we have, and things we do not have. Thank God, you were not injured . There are so many wicked people in this world.

Hi tidgea! That's very scary, but you are still very fortunate because it didn't harm you at all. God still gives you another chance. Yes, I agree with you. We should always live life as if today's our last. So, we must give gratitude to our family and friends everyday for they give us happiness. We must always thank God for all the chances He gives us. Spending each day as your last is living life to the fullest. Life is truly very valuable, so we must put much importance to it. We must always be productive.

God has plans for you, it was not your time. Your story reminded me of one from my mother's childhood. She was born in the 1930's. When she was about nine the home they lived in was hit by lightning during the night. My mother's bed was actually made of metal and the lightning had struck the wall her bed was up against. Every bit of plaster was gone and the wood was destroyed, however, the bed was NOT touched and there on the wall was a small piece of plaster, and GLUED, not nailed to it, was a favorite Psalm that her older sister had put up to "cover her baby sister with prayer" through the night. I know many times lives are lost, good lives, precious ones, and I don't know why God calls one person home in these situations, but lets another scape past-- I think it must be to renew faith that miracles happen even today and that there was still more for the ones who come through these experiences to do in their life. I don't talk about religion, or politics, unless the way is opened up since so many have such closed minds, but for myself, I believe in Jesus and I know miracles happen every day, if we aren't too blind to notice!

A bullet! that is very dangerous indeed. Did you report to the police? But who would want to shoot a bullet in your localities. You must have been very surprised in fact to see a bullet. You're lucky to be alive indeed.
