which is best -AMD or INTEL processor

AMD was designed with a good architecture which meant it ran faster than an equivalent intel processor. However intel have now gone back to their celeron processors and what with their dual core and support with motherboards/software. I would choose intel for most cases over an AMD

hi i used both intel and amd. i prefer amd. all have their own experience with their processor. i 2 computers, one desktop having p4 ccore2duo and my lap having amd athlon x2. for multi tasking programs amd is the best. if u run 2 or more applications in p4 after some times it will gets stuck. in my case surfing internet p4 is the most responsive. but amd has slight draw backs. so if u r a power game user go for amd

Hi kavin! As for as performance is concerned Intel will be the best processor,you wont have any problem with installing any OS in their.But AMD will be good for gaming purpose.But on the whole Intel will be the best.Thank You.Good luck to you.
